Most “Sponsor a Child” programs focus on providing education for children living with their biological parents, with limited additional support. At New Road Missions, we identify children experiencing trauma and abuse in unsafe homes, and welcome them into our children’s home The Fold, caring for them 24/7. 100% of your gift goes directly to providing for the children, as all of our operating costs have been funded by a few generous donors. Your monthly gift is combined with those of other sponsors, providing a steady stream of funding for long-term solutions for your sponsored child.
It costs $329/month to care for each child, so your $47/month is one of 7 shares which allows us to offer each child ongoing care in 7 areas:

Yes. We periodically host vision trips to The Fold in South Africa, where sponsors may have the opportunity to meet their child in person.

The children live at our Children’s Home and School in Bulgeriver, South Africa which is 3 ½ hours north of Johannesburg in the Waterberg Mountains.
